Raindrops

They bring back so much
With every drop that strikes the earth
Like tears from heaven rushing down
In a bid to find solace
In the Earth’s bosom
But the drops won’t stay behind for long
They’ll rise into the sky sometime
On the a chariot drawn by golden rays
And their union will be a one that lasts
Until they part again

To meet and kiss the Earth
